You will be greeted by your private local guide who will welcome you and lead you on your short ride to Bodrum's town center.

As the most famous resort destination on the Aegean coast of Turkey, Bodrum offers a most charming serene ambience with its white washed cubic houses adorned with pink and white bougainvillea. Located right at the edge of the harbor of Bodrum, there stands St.Peter's Castle dating back to 16th century built by knights of St.John. You will tour the castle, followed by a break at town's market to explore the colorful souvenir stores.

Before lunch, drive over the slopes behind Bodrum to Etrim Village, known to be the oldest nomadic village in the area. Arriving at Etrim, you will be welcomed by the former mayor and his son who will be your local hosts leading your way through the tour of their village.

You will also visit the little local mosque and will be welcomed by the local imam who will be personally introducing you to the culture, faith, and traditions of this enchanting village.

Lunch will be served at the gardens of the village coop where you will be served local dishes prepared by talented local women.

After lunch, you will have a display of nomadic old rugs and kilims woven by local women and enjoy hearing all about the motives and patterns adorning them. Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred back to cruise port.
