Helsinki is a wonderful town to experience by foot. With a population of just over 500,000 people and a fairly compact city core you can see most of the main sites by walking.
Our tour today is much more physically demanding as our guide took us on an 8km stroll through the city.
If you sail in on a smaller ship you will dock just steps away from city hall and most of the must see sites.
If you are not in the mood for a guided tour you can simply wonder the city on your own.
Large urban parks, several monuments, churches, and a large outdoor market will easily occupy you for hours.
